We are Kapaau Veterinary Center,

a veterinary practice serving North Kohala and the Big Island of Hawai’i since 1998. 

 

We practice small animal medicine - routine and preventative care, routine surgery, dental care, laser treatments, micro-chipping, vaccinations, diagnostics, parasite prevention, nutritional counseling, health certificates for domestic travel, and senior care.

We are accepting new clients and look forward to helping you care for your pet family.

 

Our entire staff is committed to treating your pet like we treat our pets.  We will communicate clearly, answer your questions, and will provide you with treatment costs.

DIRECTIONS

From Kona: Head north to Kawaihae. Follow the signs to Hawi (Rt 270)

From Waimea, Honoka'a, Hilo: Take the mountain road towards Hawi and Kapa'au. 

Follow the signs to Kapa'au.  Turn right at the bottom of Kynnersley Road.

We are located about 0.8 miles from the Kynnersley intersection in a two-story, orange and green building.  Turn right, just past the Kohala Dental Center and just after our red-trim sign.

If you see the King Kamehameha statue, you have passed us

​

Distance from Kona is about 55 miles.

Distance from Waimea is about 22 miles
